Top 10 Upcoming Cars in 2025 :
It’s going to be an interesting year.
We’re entering the final stretch of the year and, restless as we are, we can’t help but start looking sideways at the next one. In this case, we’re going with Top 10 Upcoming Cars in 2025 worth waiting to buy.
Next year, both new models and renovations of other already known models will arrive. There will be a mix of engines that is still quite varied, although, as is becoming common, most of the focus will be on the new electric cars that come to market.
BMW Vision Neue Klasse
The Neue Klasse is more of a general concept that covers all the new electric models of the German brand, which will crystallize in various cars, but the first will be the one derived from the original prototype, which broadly speaking would be a zero-emission BMW 3 Series, which provisionally and unofficially can be called ‘i3’. There will also be an iX3.
It should maintain a fairly faithful image to that of the prototype, which has a certain retro touch and will mark the design line of the models for sale.
Regarding its mechanics, it is only known that it will use batteries with cylindrical cells whose energy density is 20% higher than the current ones and that it will have an 800-volt electrical system that improves the charging speed by 30%, being able to recover up to 300 km of autonomy in 10 minutes.
Cupra Raval
Initially known as UrbanRebel, it will finally be the Barcelona neighborhood that will give its name to Cupra’s entry-level electric car, which will be the twin of the Volkswagen ID.2.
It is a compact model (4,036 mm long) developed on the MEB Small platform, with a sporty design, in line with its older brothers; and that, at least in the prototype, uses a zero-emission engine that delivers 234 hp and allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds.
Ford Ranger PHEV
The Ranger has made a name for itself among the few pick-ups on sale in the Spanish market, with a formula that combines versions that are more focused on professionalism with other extreme and sporty ones. In 2025, it will complete its range with an expected plug-in hybrid variant that will allow it to display the CERO label from the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT).
It develops 279 hp of power and 690 Nm of maximum torque, has a battery with a capacity of 11.8 kWh and is approved for an electric range of 45 km.
Kia EV4
Kia’s EV family continues to grow. This year it launched the EV3, which aims to be a potential best-seller due to its quality/price/performance ratio; but in 2025 its brother will arrive, an EV4 that presents a crossover-style saloon format, more stylized and that, on paper, should share the same mechanical options.
Lancia Ypsilon HF
The Ypsilon has been the rebirth of Lancia and the Italian brand is squeezing the juice out of the utility vehicle by presenting different versions so that it never stops being talked about. One of the most eagerly awaited is, precisely, the one that will be the most eagerly awaited, as its sportier side will not be available until next year.
Its specific image has distinctive features such as the shape of the bumper or the wheels, but it also has a differentiated set-up, which reduces the height of the suspension by 8 mm, and a 240 hp electric motor thanks to which it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds.
Lucid Gravity
The second Lucid model is a large SUV that maintains the most recognizable features of the Air, but in a format that allows it to accommodate up to 7 people and have up to 3,000 liters of trunk space. It will be offered in different versions, with up to 811 hp of power and 700 km of autonomy.
Seat Arona
It has not yet been officially announced, but months ago it was leaked in a presentation of Seat results what the Seat Arona would be like in 2025, when it will receive an update that aims to keep it fresh until the end of the decade, which will be when its replacement arrives.

A recognizable design could be seen, but with changes especially in the front that give it somewhat more relaxed shapes, but that also transmit greater sportiness. The design of the headlights and the bumper, with a huge air intake, as well as the wheels, has been retouched.
Seat Ibiza
At the same event it was also possible to see what the Seat Ibiza will be like, which is the best-selling model of the Spanish brand (in the accumulated up to October, it is the third best-selling car in the Spanish market).
On an aesthetic level it will follow the same paths as its brother and mechanically there should not be any novelty, since the platform used by both models is the same and cannot accommodate any type of electrification.
Smart #5
Smart has long since stopped being small and in its commitment to large SUVs, the #5 takes the cake: 4.70 metres long, up to 1,530 litres of boot capacity and two mechanical options, the most powerful with 646 hp.
Tesla Model Y Juniper
The Model Y was the best-selling car of 2023, so the first major update in its history is something relevant. Various mules have been caught on several occasions, but data on it is almost non-existent. In 2025 we will find out and surely the update will be a great boost for its sales.
